Overview

Responsible for building and developing winter season and summer season products from the ground up and working with the Ticketing, Snowsports, Rental, Tubing, HR, Adventure Center, Mountain Biking, IT, Accounting, and Marketing departments to seamlessly prepare and maintain products well in advance for use in RTP, Aspenware and other software applications that bring a product for sale to our guests.

Responsibilities include:

Product Build & Development:

Own communications surrounding product needs, and clearly communicate information back to appropriate teams;

Interview stakeholders, research information and processes related to the project request, observe resort front line teams as they work and document findings;

Be resort and company-wide champion in developing best practices and SOPs for product building;

Facilitate the product build off of the documented needs and desires, in accordance to new standardization guidelines, best practices, etc.;

Develop product strategies around long term visions and goals to build the most effective products;

Partner with corporate and resort teams to build product roadmaps and timelines that incorporate project and company goals (Yearly/Monthly timelines of product rollouts and system updates);

Coordinate any necessary custom developments from corporate teams needed for implementation (ie. new product validations, new Aspenware features, custom reports etc.);

Provide analysis on request for ongoing product review;

Test implemented products and coordinates the distribution of training material to support the implemented product, work with resort teams in SOP creation and put into use, look for efficiencies;

Records feedback from implemented product to start eliciting requirements for the next iteration of the project, if needed

Coordinate with resort teams to insure all necessary support is activated (ie. hardware to support software (IT), accounting GL and payment methods);

Troubleshoots issues after product implementation and provides 24/7 support to resort teams in resolution;

Oversight of daily transactions to mitigate fraud - ensure proper process are being followed and reported;

Support the development and implementation of data pipelines that extract, transform and load data into an information product (ie. Domo, PIM, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc.).
